Halloween

Good ol’ Halloween! I absolutely love this holiday! The girls were so stinkin’ cute in their costumes! Brylie was Hannah Montana and Katy was a kitten. Yes I know Katy was originally suppose to be Hannah Montana too but after seeing Brylie in the leopard costume the other day she changed her mind on me last minute….this morning! Good thing this Mommy is creative and can think on her toes! I whipped up a tutu to add to the outfit and painted her face accordingly and TADA….the cutest kitty cat you’ve ever seen! Katy was finally old enough to get the hang of trick or treating which made it that more fun. She was so funny running up to the doors trying to beat Brylie. If she knocked and there was no answer she would hang her head and say, “No one’s home.” A few times she would knock and then shout, “Hello” in hopes of them answering quicker. She refused to put any of her candy in her bag right away. She would hold it in her clinched fists until she couldn’t hold another piece and would finally give in and put it in her bag. Then she would begin to fill her hands again. Brylie was of course a Halloween pro this year. She filled Katy in on the tricks of the trade lol.

Mainstay Pumpkin Patch

Today was a total blast at the Mainstay Pumpkin Patch. It is definitely my new favorite pumpkin patch! As you can see from the pictures, there was an incredible amount of things for us to do. We will be making this a new tradition for sure!

Fall Party Day

I just love Fall parties! The girls got all decked out in their costume gear this morning! Katy was Hannah Montana and Brylie was a leopard. Brylie’s school of course didn’t allow actual Halloween costumes so they instead made it “Safari Day”. She has to save her Hannah Montana get up for Halloween. Katy and I went to our school this morning and enjoyed the parties with our classes, then we got to go to Brylie’s carnival party at her school. It was a great Fall Party Day!

Flower Mound Pumpkin Patch

Tonight we went to the pumpkin patch in Flower Mound. I have to admit that I wasn’t as impressed with it as I was last year but it was still lots of fun for the girls.
