We FINALLY moved into our new house at the beginning of June. (Yes I know I am way behind on this post!) After not getting the house we wanted in Artesian Acres we were pretty upset. We found another house just one exit up and to our surprise have fallen in love with it. We actually think we like this house more than the other one. It is a large 4 bedroom home with hardwood floors throughout. The backyard is HUGE with plenty of room for all of the kiddos toys. They each have their own room and we also have a playroom. There is ample storage space both inside and out including 3 large storage buildings. The only thing we don't like is that it has central heat but not central air. I wasn't planning on purchasing another house with window units but on the plus side since the vents are already installed and all we need is a unit, we are going to have the owner install it before we decide to buy it.
I have of course been spending a lot of time painting, organizing, and decorating. In fact I think we have gone through about 8 gallons of paint so far. It is starting to come along and we are down to the little things. Our next big project will be finding someone to lay the new tile in the bathrooms. Right now the flooring is pretty ugly! One of the bigger projects I mastered was painting polka dots in Brylie's room. That is one thing I don't want to do again for a very long time! It was A LOT of work!
