I cannot believe my baby is 6 years old! We all had a BLAST at her party! We even got to see family we haven't seen in a while which made even more special. The highlight of the party was the water slide we rented. It was 24 FEET TALL! You go down inside a see-through tunnel, corkscrew around, and shoot out into a pool at the bottom. It was incredibly fast! We had it all day Friday, Saturday, and Sunday so by the time they picked it up we had invented every way possible to go down. The grown ups even had our own party Saturday night until 2 in the morning. We will definitely be getting a water slide at least once a month from now on.
Brylie and her friends all did really well at the slumber party. There was not even any arguing or crying to go home. They all played on the water slide until about 10 p.m so by the time I finally made them come in they were EXHAUSTED! All in all it was a FANTASTIC weekend!
More pictures and a video to come soon. By the way...Mitchell decorated the cake!

Our New Home
We FINALLY moved into our new house at the beginning of June. (Yes I know I am way behind on this post!) After not getting the house we wanted in Artesian Acres we were pretty upset. We found another house just one exit up and to our surprise have fallen in love with it. We actually think we like this house more than the other one. It is a large 4 bedroom home with hardwood floors throughout. The backyard is HUGE with plenty of room for all of the kiddos toys. They each have their own room and we also have a playroom. There is ample storage space both inside and out including 3 large storage buildings. The only thing we don't like is that it has central heat but not central air. I wasn't planning on purchasing another house with window units but on the plus side since the vents are already installed and all we need is a unit, we are going to have the owner install it before we decide to buy it.
I have of course been spending a lot of time painting, organizing, and decorating. In fact I think we have gone through about 8 gallons of paint so far. It is starting to come along and we are down to the little things. Our next big project will be finding someone to lay the new tile in the bathrooms. Right now the flooring is pretty ugly! One of the bigger projects I mastered was painting polka dots in Brylie's room. That is one thing I don't want to do again for a very long time! It was A LOT of work!
Here are pictures of the rooms that are finished so far. More pictures to come a little later....

Brylie Loses Her First Tooth
Well after MUCH drama, Brylie finally lost her first tooth. She actually had 4 loose ones and the bottom 2 have litterally been hanging by a thread. Katy and I chased her around the house for over 30 minutes before I cornered her and "touched" the tooth. It fell into her lap and she let out a nervous giggle. That night she wrote the Tooth Fairy a note then woke up to $5.00, a Fancy Nancy book, and a note from the Tooth Fairy.

Swimming Lessons
The girls completed swimming lessons this week and they both did GREAT! Brylie can dive in and swim all the way across the pool by herself. Katy can swim very short distances by herself from her teacher to the steps. Their teacher happened to be the same teacher that taught Mitchell swimming lessons 20 years ago! She was AMAZING!
