News Years Eve was a lot of fun. We went over to Jory and Elena's house to ring in 2011. Lucas and Jessica weren't able to make it since little Myla was born the night before. (By the way she is adorable!) We did get to hang out with Nathan and Ryan which is always a trip. It was especially fun being in a town that actually allows fireworks. I think everyone in Lumberton was shooting off fireworks. Even the great big ones. It was like we were part of a neighborhood competition. :)
Since the New Year we have spent a lot of time with Elena and Jory. We have had game nights, movie nights, and attempting to go into labor nights. Elena and I have even spent 2 nights in the hospital again with her contractions. Sunday night we were there from 1:00 in the morning until around 7:00. The baby's heart rate had dropped so they ended up doing an ultrasound. Turns out Elena has started to loose fluid but the doctor isn't concerned since her due date is this week. They estimated he ways about 7 llbs right now. It is still just a waiting game now. Her contractions are off the charts but she is refusing to dilate. We have tried everything and I do mean EVERYTHING!! (Castor Oil, Red Leaf Tea, Primrose Oil, etc.) Little Peyton is just holding on for dear life in there. Hopefully this will be the week though!
Brylie went back to school yesterday but she was excited to see her friends and teacher. It's always hard to get back in the school groove but at least Brylie was happy to adapt.
2011 is off to a great start! We are looking forward to what God has in store for us this year!

Christmas Time!
We had a really great Christmas this year! We opened the first round of presents on the 22nd. The girls got to go ahead and open all of their gifts from me and Mitchell and also the gifts from Aunt Courtney. On the 23rd they opened their Papa and Lola gifts and then they made cookies for Santa who came a day early. They woke up Christmas Eve to Santa's delivery. On the night of Christmas Eve we went to our annual Chinese Christmas in Newton. It is always a blast! Santa even made a surprise visit! Katy would not leave him alone! She loves anything in costume, Santa included. She was so cute! After our Newton Christmas we got on the road for the 5 hour trip to Crawford for Christmas with Aunt Jacque, Uncle Chris, and Uncle Matt, and Mimi and Papa. Christmas day we opened all of those gifts and then headed back to Lumberton. Well at least 3 of us did...Brylie stayed for a mini vacation in Lubbock. Christmas night we went to Jory and Elena's and did our Christmas with them and Lucas and Jessica. After opening our gifts we started a fire outside and then shot off some fireworks. Then us girls went inside for some Michael Jackson on the Wii. That of course was hillarious! I plan on posting a video as soon as Mitchell finds the right cord to his phone. As you can see we had a really busy Christmas! It's not over yet though! This coming weekend we will have Christmas with my mom and grandparents as well as my dad! Here are some of the pictures I've uploaded so far...

HO HO HO!
I took the girls to the mall today to visit Santa. I was so excited that neither of them were a bit scared. I knew Brylie would be fine but Katy is at the age where most little ones cry. Not my Katy though. When it was their turn Katy pushed Brylie out of the way and ran up to Santa. She started showing off her outfit and headband and then jumped up on his lap for the picture. She didn't want to leave when it was over. I think this is the best Santa picture we've gotten so far.

Here Comes Santa Claus
Last night the girls got a really big surprise...Santa came to see them. We were just sitting in the living room when we heard sirens getting closer and closer to the house. We went outside just in time to see Santa and 2 of his elves riding down the street on a fire truck. They were just riding around the neighborhoods throwing candy canes to all the kids that came outside. Brylie told Katy that he was checking to see if they were being good lol. I am really starting to love this little town. They always have so much going on for the girls.
